thank you
thanks to all of your contributions and support, I just returned home with fourteen recordings for my first full length album. the moment I stepped foot on the Dockside compound the humidity attached to my creative cells and all of life’s distractions instantly ceased to exist. we, as in Nikolai, Packy (more about him later), and I quickly made ourselves at home, recording fourteen tracks in two and a half days under the hands of producer John Snyder and engineer Korey Richey. many moments of spontaneity and long nights in the studio made for quite an exciting album, one that I am incredibly proud of and excited to share with all of you.
as for Packy he is a recent addition to the band, in which this album would not be the same without his immense contribution. being the multi-instrumentalist he is, he colored each song beautifully with an array of instruments. we even got an accordian in his hands at one point and it only took him twenty minutes to learn!
we are now in the process of digesting the album ourselves in order to make changes here and there to the mix, as well as making plans for mastering and designing the album artwork.
as we are still in need of funding, presales remain available for purchase. be sure to sign up for the email newsletter to be updated with videos and photographs from Dockside. by scrolling down you can hear a little taste of what was created down at Dockside. tell your friends, family, and anyone else you think would enjoy it. fyi, Scarlet Johansson isn’t the only one with louisiana cicadas on her record.
peace&love,
